We love God, each other, and the people of Jonesboro. Come as you are — you’ll feel at home here.
Our mission
Baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that Christ has commanded; and know He is with us always.
We at Cathedral Baptist Jonesboro love God, each other and the people in our city. We’re confident you’ll feel right at home in our community of faith.
New here?
Greeters will welcome you at the door, but no one is going to smother you. Come in, find a pew, and sit down. Sing along — or just listen. When the service is over, we hope you’ll feel comfortable enough to come back.

Since 1971 we’ve been a Christ-centered family in Jonesboro — part of the Baptist Missionary Association of Churches, reaching our city and sending missionaries to the world.
The Bible is the catalyst for transformation. We teach it accurately, practically, and relevantly.
All people matter to God, and they ought to matter to our church.
Jesus prayed that we would be one. Unity grows us and our ministry.
He lives in every Christian and gives power for daily life and witness.
We build up the saints for every good work through the Scriptures.
Life-on-life relationships make disciples who make disciples.
2706 Alexander Drive is our mission field. From here, we also send.
We celebrate together with music, teaching, and prayer.
Purpose is found in submitting to God — even in the broken places.
From Pastor Ken Beaver
Nothing beats an in-person visit, but you can watch recent services on YouTube or join us live on Facebook. Either way, you are welcome.
A note from the pastor
“Even as a pastor, I still ask the same questions when I visit a church for the first time. At Cathedral, we want to make joining in as easy as possible.”
Bro. Ken moved to Jonesboro from southwest Arkansas, where he pastored for 14 years. He and his wife Tara have been married since 2001 and have three children. He also serves as a licensed counselor.
